1. Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen readers, screen magnifiers or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
2. What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, has a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA colour-contrast levels.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and error messages say what to fix.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens, and animation is turned off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- We checked the public pages with automated accessibility testing (axe-core) and by using them with a keyboard only.
3. Known limitations
- The school system behind the sign-in has not yet been fully checked against WCAG 2.1 AA. Some complex tables and charts may be hard to use with a screen reader.
- Report cards and other PDF documents are designed for printing and are not yet tagged for screen readers.
4. Feedback and help
If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email [email protected]. Please tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply within 5 working days.
